Never to early to start.

Saints 12-4
Bucs 9-7
Panthers 6-10
Falcons 3-13

Saints 10-6
Bucs 8-8
Panthers 8-8
Falcons 4-12

I fail to see how you think the Panthers will go 6-10. They were able to pull out 7-9 with most of their team hurt and David Carr as their QB last year. They will surprise some people this coming year.

Either way no team is going to dominate the division. It'll be close again.

The NFC South becomes respectable again. Maybe we can snag a probowl appearance this year...

*subject to change drastically post-draft.

I second these final standings. The Panthers have a ton of holes, the Bucs have to play a first place schedule, and the Falcons should just plain stink. Theoretically, the Saints hopefully will at least split with the Bucs and Panthers and take 2 from the Falcons.

Whenever I predict us to do well and win the division we end up below .500 so this year I'm doing the opposite;

Falclowns 11-5
Panthers 8-8
Bucs 7-9
Saints 4-12

With question marks on Deuce's recovery, our new veteran acquisitions, and the '08 draft still ahead... I think it IS actually too early.

Kinda like putting Howard Dean in the White House (back in early '04) when the polls had him as the inevitable Democrat nominee with an "insurmountable" lead. Well, we know how that turned out!

After the draft, I think a clearer picture will emerge.

*I also predict that this is John Fox's final year in Carolina.

*I think Atlanta and New Orleans will fight it out all year long for the division lead.

*The Bucs will pull a Detroit this year-- start out on fire, and fizzle out midway through the season dropping 7 of their final 8.
