The Saints come into Week 14 looking to re-start their winning ways.
They went into Jerry World riding a 10 game win streak, but after running into the twin combination of Ezekiel Elliott on the ground and a stout front seven defense, Drew Brees and company loss their first game since Week 1 and were held to just 10 points.
In the process, they also lost their No. 1 position in the NFC playoff standings.
In their spot went the L.A. Rams, who won their game against Detroit on Sunday, and face a far easier schedule down the stretch than the Saints do. Now, New Orleans is facing the possibility of not having home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The Saints’ challenging late season schedule gets something of a break this coming Sunday, at least in theory, as they travel to Tampa Bay to avenge their other loss of the season against the Buccaneers, who are coming off a win over Carolina.
