I absolutely can't believe this right now....

I literally JUST saw him in Atlanta..It feels like Michael dying all over again.

He absolutely killed it the other night, voice was exactly the same as it was 20+ years ago....This sucks.

Dear 2016, STOP KILLING ALL MY HEROES!!

Guess I should have closed my eyes
When you drove me to the place
Where your horses run free.

yea this one made me change my aviator.

I have watched this about 20 times.

RIP Prince

always enjoyed his music, his halftime show at Super Bowl 41 is one of the greatest ever

Let's Watch Prince's Super Bowl Halftime Show, The Best We've Ever Seen

To me, it was the best. The fact that he got out there and performed in that downpour (singing Purple Rain), with all that electrical equipment (including the lit stage), he and his dancers in high heels gives true meaning to his greatness. That performance was flawless.

I'm seriously sad by this. Throughout my life my top two performers have always gone back and forth between Prince and Queen. This sucks ***...

I'll watch MTV for the first time in a few decades then.

First time in the last 10 years I'll miss cable.

One of many reasons the '89 Batman was my favorite of the series. Dat soundtrack.

RIP musical genius.

It has long been my opinion that his performance of "Fury" in 2006 is the best SNL performance of all-time. The walk-off at the ending is just an epic moment. (sorry for the foreign link, but it's safe)

"I Wanna Be Your Lover", Live 1982. Wow.

Purple Rain was on VH1 last Saturday. I normally hate watching movies with commercial breaks, but I watched it for some reason. :tombstone:

I'll post this because I'm sure none of you would actually ever check to see what is on MTV - but apparently the network has suspended its regular (non-music) programming for 24 hours of Prince.

Good for them.

Yeah, I heard about that. Flashback to 1999! Let's party!

oh, that's a funny, huh?
