As God is my witness, no other general-purpose household cleaning agent comes close.

Available at most local Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE Hardware, etc.

I picked up a bottle of this stuff at Home Depot a couple years ago when I was painting my living room. There were a few splatters (on carpet :covri: ), and I think it mentioned something about paint splatters on the bottle, so I figured what the hell.

It popped back into mind yesterday while I was "powerwashing" (not really, just a hose with one of those pesticide-style chemical-mixing reservoirs between the hose and the nozzle) the front porch, garage door, etc.

This stuff is freaking amazing. Seriously.

It got the paint splatters out of the carpet. And off the baseboards. It gets coffee stains off of Corian sink basins. It got the mildew off the millwork on the front porch. Ditto the garage door.

No scrubbing. Spray on, wait a minute or two, hose down with water (outside) or rub down with a damp rag (inside.) No suds, no residue, hard surface or fabric, doesn't matter.

Spray it onto a vertical surface you thought was already "clean" (suggestion: try the fridge.) The color of the streaks will make you vomit from terror.

But if you can stomach finishing the job with a damp rag, you'll be damn glad you did.

It's "green." Biodegradable, water-based, poses no danger to spotted owls, you could eat off a surface cleaned with this stuff like 30 seconds ago, all that hippie stuff.

Which is cool, but if you're not down with that kind of thing, rest assured that it's just gravy. The bottom line is that the stuff WORKS better than anything else you've ever used. In fact, it probably works better than you're even capable of expecting a household cleaning agent to work.

And it's versatile. For me, I no longer have any need for Windex, Pledge, 409, Tilex, outdoor "housewash" type soaps, Mr. Clean, carpet steam cleaner stuff, etc. This stuff does all that. And better.

Get some. I'll be damned if you don't end up back on this here thread testifying. :9:

OK, sold.

Can you dilute it into a spray bottle a la 409 or do you use it full strength?

Ill have to try that, whats also good is mint oil, I think its made in Shreveport, you can find it at most winn dixies, a little glass bottle which is super concentrated and can be used on just about anything

hmm.. i've never had that much success using that stuff....
guess since they make it close to here the dirt and muck around here are immune to it.

I've seen a truly cruddy Junior High art classroom transformed by a bottle of the yellow label spray formula. This stuff works miracles. Old paint-splattered sinks, table tops covered in crayon/marker/glue concoctions - it all went.

Yes, yes, yes. I used this stuff when getting house back together after Katrina. There's nothing like it, IMO. :9:

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at it today and almost bought it. We're getting the house ready for sale so something that really CLEANS will be great.
