Living out of town, I'm happy I saw this link. For those in town for the game tomorrow, this is a heads up on what's going to be happening in the Dome and at Champions Square...

“We are not selling fountain soft drinks tonight. Everything being sold will be in a bottle, with the exception of draft beer and mixed drinks,” states SMG General Manager, Alan Freeman.

He added that if mixed drinks being purchased at the complex require water, bottled water will be used.

"All internal ice makers have been shut down," Chamblee noted. "The ice that will be used for this weekend’s events has been purchased from an ice supplier."

Authorities add that they put signs on all water fountains and in restrooms notifying patrons of the boil water advisory.

That's pathetic. Looks like they stole most of that $3 Billion they got from FEMA to upgrade the sewerage and water board.

Ugh. I was hoping we'd be in the clear this morning. Time to go put another pot on the stove...

What would be nice if they would reduce prices for the drinks since they a slightly more than the fountain variety. Don't see it happening through.

What we might see if this wasn't planned correctly is the Dome selling out of bottled drinks real early.

Da previous mayor set up his croinies in position to profit from the 3 billion. Dat is where the feds need to look.

All of the ice in drinks is brought in from outside vendors. All other contained drinks have been bottled outside of the city and have been bottled along time ago. The boli water advisory is a bit overblown for the Saints game. The Pelicans played last night at the Smoothie King center without a problem. Unless you are drinking a drink at a restaurant, outside of the Superdome, in a cup, or a glass, there should be no real issues.
