Last season wasn't one to remember for the Saints' punt return game.
Starting returner Tommylee Lewis missed most of the season after sustaining a knee injury Week 2, and despite using standout running Alvin Kamara in his place, the team's numbers were dismal.
The Saints' 60 combined punt return yards on the season were the lowest in the league, and the team's average of 5.0 yards per punt return was tied for second-to-worst.
The cast of characters in that inconsistent position have been a revolving door for years, with the last productive punt return man being Marcus Murphy, who had 261 punt return yards in 2015. ...
