Why put Peat in position to let FG get blocked

why is DB playing Special teams instead of some rookie

all of these touch backs even with the new starting point at the 25?

To answer your questions: Why put ANYONE in a position to let a FG get blocked.. I'm sure that wasn't the plan.
In regards to DB, we probably needed some good players on ST to make plays considering we've been struggling for years with this facet of the game.
In regards to the touchbacks, as mentioned above, we obviously don't trust our specialteamers to make plays.


On a positive note, I've been happy with Lasco so far on ST

Because Peat came in out of shape his rookie year brah. Just like Ingram screwing up his toe and being hampered by it and unable to make the TD in the Green Bay game.

question needs to start with the position coach, need to get a legit ST coach

I don't think using the word "special" should be used with our STs. It should be Disaster Teams. So DT not ST
