Indeed. But I didn't want QLaz to think fundamentalist Muslims had the patent on beheading people with whom they disagree about religion.

Maybe in another 365 years they will catch up with the rest of society. We can only hope.

Most Muslims have. The fundamentalist variety of any faith rejects what you're hoping will happen.

I would wager the violent fundamentalist Muslims in 2020 far outweigh the violent fundamentalist Catholics, yet centuries old history gets brought up nearly every time, regardless.

This dude was a priest at St. Anselm in Madisonville. The parishioners we knew ( including ourselves ) always found him to be a bit off. Very timid, not very sure of himself ( speaking ) and eccentric.

Yes, I used a web search because I couldn't remember off the top of my head Cromwell's exact religion, though I do know that he wasn't Catholic, I never actually said he was, though I can see how it might be implied. I also had lo look up the dates because it's been over 30 years since I graduated from high school and I don't make a habit of studying Oliver Cromwell lore. If all you can do is ridicule my verifying the accuracy of the supporting information for the point to which I am trying to make then I'll move on.
