A decent CB will average about 12-14. A good CB 15-17. Anything above that is elite status.

The answer to the question is 7.

That's just a startling statistic.

You have to remember the Raiders threw big money at him after his one glorious season back in 2006 and they never got their return on that investment. And then the media/pundits would have you believe he was still that elite level CB of 2006 when Philly got him. His rep is all based on that one season.

He will be 32 years old when the 2013 season starts.

passes defensed don't tell the whole story, if you have good coverage they don't throw the ball your way.

You are really going to try to discredit Nnamdi's time with the Raiders?

Passes defended is a meaningless stat.

Are you really judging his cover skills by passes defended???

He was avoided in coverage constantly in OAK, I know he was bad in PHI but he can still be useful if motivated.

My preference would be to ink Lewis and then grab Grimes on a short prove it type deal-

Between the 2008, 2009, and 2010 season (until he joined the Eagles) he had only given up 2 touchdowns, QB's averaged less than a 70 passer rating against him, and ranked with the best at completion percentage and yards given up.

So no, he wasn't thrown big money just because of one glorious season. It was because he performed. He was what many would consider an elite cornerback by just about anyone's standard.

Not saying he still is, just giving credit where it's due.

Teams weren't throwing at Nmandi. How many passes defensed did Deion average?

Nnamdi straight destroyed Calvin Johnson last year when they let him man up. Then when they pulled him off of him, Megatron went off.

Juan Castillo didn't know what he was doing. Asomugha is still a top level man-corner.
