Heading to Nola for Thanksgiving, mawmaw lives in Houma but no hotels available. wife informed me that you need a vax car to go into restaurants in the city. is this true can't be huh
 
This article is from Oct 27th. Looks like you still need to show a card or negative test.


Currently, patrons must show proof of vaccination for bars, restaurants and some other businesses or a negative PCR test. PCR tests, which are considered more accurate, can take days to receive results. Antigen test results can take less than half an hour, which should allow unvaccinated patrons to more easily prove their eligibility for service.

Pretty sure you only need the proof of a first vaccine dose. Plenty of time to get that done prior to Thanksgiving…
