Exactly b/c they realized a bit too late to start making it a defense team. Depending on him for everything was kinda bad esp the last few years. They got it the last two years and not are looking spectacular but again a bit too late.

He's getting his try out and does not appear to be a good fit for what we do. I think Taysom has skill that's appealing to he also won't be able to be the player necessary to keep the standard of QB play Brees has set

This is still a talented team that can win dispite the fact our QB of the future may not be in the building or has been a healthy inactive each week *cough* peep avatar *cough* so the Saints will probably get through this season and reevaluate the position

This is still a play off team and will only improve as the season goes on but I agree with Mora

Maybe, just maybe.... Coach is still building his offense around new QB, and adding and subtracting plays here and there as different pieces are changed out. Perhaps, as JW grows more confident in his receivers, and perhaps even HAS some receivers, we will see things start to stabilize into an offense that we sort of recognize.

Just like Coach can't just plug Winston into the Brees offense, he also can't just plug the Brees offense into Winston. It is a brand new animal that will take some time to come together.

Maybe it will never come together. Maybe Winston is NOT the guy we need. He is the guy we have right now, though, and we aren't likely to find anybody better this season or even next.
