I liked season 1, but I'm not sure I liked it enough to invest in a whole new season.

Mostly enjoyed ep 1
Their fx budget seemed to get a boost
Really wish they could have found some way to replace the kid actors though- there are so many good kid actors out there now but something is just not clicking here

I watched the first two episodes of season 2 last night. It seems pretty clear that they made a decision to make the show less strange and mysterious. It's still not clear what is going on, but the story telling seems much more straightforward and explicit. Which I honestly think makes the show less interesting. I think it was better when it was more mysterious and like a strange dream. Also, I agree with guido that the kid actors are not good. In fact, I think other than the two actors that play the androids, the whole cast is pretty meh.

I'll keep watching for awhile, but the story seems to really be losing its momentum and interest.

And I think I would be fine with that - I just can’t get past how bad the kids’ performances are - just distracts me too much from the show
