Uniform numbers for the remaining group of New Orleans Saints additions were reported by Josh Katzenstein of the Times-Picayune, revealing which jerseys the team’s free agent signings will wear. Rookie numbers were announced by the Saints on their minicamp participants list, but those are subject to change. Hopefully some of the team’s draft picks will get better numbers in the coming months after various roster cuts and personnel moves.
Rather than list them off in a boring chart, here’s our subjective ranking of each new jersey number. Factors including pleasing aesthetics, team history (Steve Gleason and Tracy Porter will be remembered forever), and largely personal preference decided the ranking. Here’s where we stand (draft picks are in bold):
