Rapoport: Derek Carr avoided serious injury but could miss time; Carr has AC joint sprain (Sports Med Dr Jesse Morse predicts 1 - 4 wks) (2 Viewers)

I’m already 2 steps ahead mama…. I say start Taysom. Win the next 4 of 6 until Carr gets back…. And see where this division title takes us. But I’d bet my towel arse that DA won’t do that.
I'm right with you my "baked" friend~! TH#7 Sparks the entire TEAM and @ QB? No D-Coach can scheme for the impossible, which Taysom brings~! Agree again, Coach DA does NOT agree with us.......so? Tough weeks ahead even with all of the great talent we seem to have...."F'ed Up~!" Hopes do die hard however.....

Look of we can go 2 and 2 and get that offensive line in shape for his return

Then we could be a force in the NFL. Miami is deadly
49ers are deadly

Everyone else seems to be sitting at tier 2 or below.
If Carr's only missing 4 weeks, and the defense can play like we know they're capable of, I don't think 3-1 is out of the realm of possibility. That hinges on Jamies playing decently and managing the games. But nobody's buying Baker being Tampa's savior, Mac Jones isn't scaring anybody, and the Texans look good but need a few more drafts to really put it together. Lawrence and the Jags on a short week is a pretty certain loss to me without Carr. But I'll happy take 3-1 or 2-2 vs another lost season with an injured QB.

The Jags are terrible. Lost by 20 at home to Houston.

I'd feel a heck of a lot more confident in wins over the next 4 weeks if we could run the damn ball.

Depends on the sprain... I say 2 week. His shoulder was landed on... not hyper extended. I didn't think, from looking at it, was too serious. I really thought it was a fracture ribs

AC joint is best case scenario. There is a chance he can play versus Tampa. I’ve had a sprained AC joint. Painful but doesn’t impact throwing mechanics (unless there is swelling). Don’t want it to get hit so RB or LB would be a no go but QB is different. Pain management issue (bench and push up motion is the worst but throwing is good) not a mechanics issue. Another direct strike to the shoulder makes you want to cry and scream. We dodged a bullet. Better fix this line.

If it's a Grade 1 possible to be back for Tampa but given the state of the OL an extra week would be wise.

See, this is the real issue here. If we have Carr or Taysom or Winston or freakin Pat Mahomes back there, it won't make much difference if the line can't open up holes for the running game and continually has d-linemen in the QB's face half a second after the snap.

Pet needs to do scheme up some plays like how the Patriots use to to do with Brady. 2 step drop backs and ball is out. That could help the O-Line
Pete and scheme up?!! The dude who doesn’t know how to get his best players the ball or even on the field😂😂 yeah ok

And unfortunately i dont think offensive line play is something you can turn around in season. Its like expecting a bad secondary to stop giving up long passes.
