Rapoport: Derek Carr avoided serious injury but could miss time; Carr has AC joint sprain (Sports Med Dr Jesse Morse predicts 1 - 4 wks) (1 Viewer)

I wonder if the player who purposely slammed him gets fined
He did seem to sling him with leverage, but let up slightly too . He couldve slung him harder than landed on him. Grass is much harder than our pellet turf as per the reporter

I don't know. I had this injury as high school tight end and had to miss two weeks and wear a brace the rest of the season. I remember I couldn't lift my hand over my head for at least the first week. Long time ago at a low level but it was pretty painful...

Sounds correct. TE has to expose that AC joint again. Seems logical in light of Carr injury. Pain tolerance and risk of reinjury aside it should be quick.

We also have never found a way to coach to his style. I think his int stigma has coaches and himself holding back. I'd rather our qb play to win then play not to lose. As a person who has followed Jamies since college. He isn't a quick.decision maker. He needs a pocket. So for those reasons alone we are screwed. I want him to do well but unless Jameis or another qb can average 2.5 seconds to throw, we are screwed with this line
I don’t think so, Jw has a lot of experience with this team and coaches. If he were a free agent from another team that would be different. What I didn’t like in JWs interview, is when he said I’ll be ready, speaking of next week. Why wasn’t he ready in the second half of the game. And if he’d say he was, then I’d say, why didn’t we score 14 more points in the 4th. Instead we tried to run the clock out on a half. Wether that was Pete calling low risk plays, or JW not seeing something open downfield because he was so dialed in to throw short completions out of being nervous, is something someone else needs to go back and look at the film. Regardless JW gives us the best chance at winning going forward.

Awesome! If we can somehow fix the o line even a little, Jameis can hold it down. I’m still excited and hopeful for the rest of the season.

Jameis cult after hearing this news:

That made me chuckle. Funnily most of those posters are among my favorites on the site. I hope Jameis lights it up and we see a billion threads telling everyone how amazing he is. He’s due, seems like a very good dude and teammate….let’s get it Jameis! The staff has to let him be himself tho.

6-3 as Saints starter, 34-46 as Bucs starter

Actually 6-4 as Saints starter. But one of those 6 was the game he got hurt in. We were down 10-7 when he got hurt and won 36-27…so on paper he gets credit but in my mind it was Trevor’s win.

Thats right, 5-4 without counting the game that Siemian finished
