Forecasting who the New Orleans Saints will select with the No. 10 pick in the NFL Draft on April 26 won't be near the conundrum of a year ago.

Gauging who to take at No. 27 left itself at the mercy of the rest of the league. The Saints drafted the best available player and he turned out to go sour fast. Their first-round pick, wide receiver Robert Meachem, never touched the field last season.

Plotting the direction of the nine teams above the Saints this time can be judged a little easier for coach Sean Payton and general manager Mickey Loomis.
