The Baltimore Ravens have informed season ticket holders that their seats will not available this year.

The team says season ticket holders will be offered the same seats in 2021, and money already spent for this season can be used for next year or refunded upon request. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, NFL games this season are expected to be held without fans or in front of a greatly reduced audience.

According to an email sent Wednesday by the Ravens to the owners of Personal Seat Licenses, the team speculated that stadium capacity -- if fans are allowed -- would be fewer than 14,000 seats per game.

If fans are permitted to attend, seats would be sold on a game-by-game basis with season ticket holders receiving a priority opportunity to purchase in advance of any public sale

I imagine if there are fans in the stadium, that's ultimately the route the Saints will go -- and probably all teams.

Most teams are in populous cities where the spread is more likely to occur to begin with. So once one team does it (the Ravens), it's hard not to see that happening with teams in hard hit areas of south Florida, California, New Jersey, etc.

Still probably a line wrapped around thr building to use the bathroom

How do they decide which people can go? I guess some from each seating level to keep people spread out?

You won't get "your seats". Tickets will go on sale like a concert and season ticket holders will get first crack at them.

Still wondering about seating though. Doubt it will be lower bowl only if the goal is to spread people out?

Yeah that will be interesting and it will certainly be spread out. What will be interesting is how they sell the blocks of tickets. Will you have to buy a group of 4, only go in groups of 2's etc etc.
