METAIRIE — The Baltimore Ravens have never played a regular-season game in the Superdome going into Sunday’s key matchup with the New Orleans Saints, but they have played one exhibition game there.<O:p></O:p>

While preseason games aren’t usually memorable, that one was. And it wasn’t because the Ravens walked out of the Superdome with a 21-6 win on the night of Aug. 26, 2005. It was memorable because it was the last football game played in the stadium before Hurricane Katrina unleashed its full fury on the city 2 1/2 days later, severely damaging the building.<O:p></O:p>

“It was a unique time,” Ravens coach Brian Billick said during a conference call Wednesday. “We were there. What strikes me the most about it was in listening to all the commentary afterwards and all the finger pointing. Full Story - Advocate
