Running back Mike Bell missed practice for a second straight day Thursday, which means the New Orleans Saints could be without their leading rusher for Sunday’s game with the Buffalo Bills.

Bell, who has rushed for 229 yards and a touchdown in the first two games this season, sustained a sprained right knee in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 48-22 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Saints coach Sean Payton will update Bell’s status after practice today.
