LSU standout lining up at fullback and running back

MOBILE, Ala. — After settling into the Senior Bowl routine the last couple of days, LSU running back Jacob Hester felt right at home with the South offense in Tuesday afternoon’s practice.
On one play, Hester lined up at fullback and blew up Miami linebacker Tavares Gooden at the line of scrimmage. On the next play, Hester lined up in a one-back set as tailback and gained 4 yards on a stretch play.
While neither play was glamorous, it’s exactly what Hester became known for during his career with the Tigers.
