Look, the Ravens have a good D and play sound football. They have beaten teams I didn't think they would beat all year. Our Saints are the same way. I expect a low scoring game coming down to the wire. Hopefully, Reggie's true talents will be shown for all to see. Now, lets get off of Reggie. It's time for the Dline (especially Charles Grant) to step up. They have been great as a unit stopping the run, but it seems like Smith is the only one who gets penetration and Thomas does a great job clogging the interior. Grant was a first round pick and he needs to play like it. With Smith on the other side he should flourish and he's not. When he can be domminate. I see us as a force. Saints 17 Ravens 14

Just replying to my on thread. It's not 3:20am. It' only 11:20am. What's up with the board. It's been a while since I posted.

because there are too many other posts about the same thing..

New Orleans 20
Baltimore 16

The Saints have the offense to get it done versus the Ravens, while I expect Billick to do no better with the offense then former OC Jim Fassel did. Drew Brees and company will have another excellent week overall as the Saints improve to 6-1 on the season. Another quality win for the team over a very talented Ravens team.

Saints lose big. Billick hushes every sports reporter who questioned the booting of Jim Fassel by showing a sparkplug offense.

I agree

I still think defense in Batltimore D is still alive, but we're more of a complete team with a top 10 D and one hell of an offense compared to the Ravens

Charles Grant came up huge for us down the stretch against the Eagles...

Also, every time I looked at Will Smith, he was being more or less held by an Eagle. It was rarely called, but to me it looked as if he was getting grabbed for quite a large portion of the game.

Saints - 20, Ravens 17. This game will not be easy.

New Orleans 27
Baltimore 13

Our weakness on defense is our secondary, however Baltimore doesn't have the weapons or QB to exploit this. McNair has only completed 8 passes for over 20 yards and none for over 40. This matchup favors our defense. Their WR's will not be able to exploit our slower DB's, thus keeping the game infront of them allowing our front 4 to pressure the QB.

I expect a blowout. Just call it a gut feeling and that is feeling pretty real right now.

Saints 37 Ravens 10

I can honesly say that I have NO gut feeling about this game. That's very unusual for me......not that my gut feeling is correct all that often. I just have no real feel for this game. there are some factors thatt will play in that are kind of intangible. What kind of spark (or lack of) will baltimores coaching change make.......how do the teams react to a bye......does NO keep it's magic? The ravens even at 4-2 (?) have thier backs against the wall.

But this is a game that I really think NO can win, although it is going to be a measure of thier toughness, at the same time, you can earmark this as a game they can lose w/o any real damage. I hope more than anything that the team plays well and they can avoid any real injuries. Injuries bother me about this matchup more than anything.

I'm sticking with 24-10 Saints

Raven get 7 points from a turnover

Saints get
7 from passing,
7 from rushing
7 from the fans/domefield
and
7 from the Turf

Saint are going to be 6 & 1
