Reggie and Colston #1 and #2 on SI's Rookie watch (1 Viewer)

Boy, looking back at some of these old posts feels like reading a diary or something. I remember the feelings vividly and here we are 2 years later. I am starting to appreciate 06 more and more the farther we get from it. Do you think we just simply caught lightening in a bottle that year or are we poised to make a championship run for the next few years?

ahh yes....the once and future kings in a day when the future looked so bright

Haha, from number 9 on the list

"The bottom line is that Young gives the Titans a better chance to win every week than the team's other options"

He does. Titans would still be going to the playoffs if VY was in there. Collins has NOT been good for them, just barely adequate.

Yeah right. 13-2 is barely adequate. (no hostility intended towards you GR26).

vince young is a int machine and no doubt would have cost them quite a few games. there is a reason that he is sitting on the sideline... and its not because he got caught dancing with a bunch of men half naked and wanted to commit suicide.

13-2 is because of their world class D and two headed attack at runningback. Has very little to do with Kerry Collins. Collins is nothing but a game manager, and the stats show as much.

241/413 for 2,676 yards. 12 TDs, 7 INTs, and 80.3 rating. That's not anything but adequate by any measure. True he's better than Vince Young, but only because they don't ask him to really do anything but snap the ball.

Even with VY they would be in the playoffs.

they didnt ask young to do anymore and he was horrible. he would have likely had twice as many int's as collins, therefore they would likely have 9-10 wins and might not make the playoffs, just like last year.
