1. A wide receiver who can stretch the defense.
2. A cornerback
3. Either 1 additional dl if Baun is envisioned as more of a linebacker OR 1 additional experienced linebacker whose strength is coverage if Baun is going to spend more time closer to the LOS
4. A backup QB who is capable of starting so Taysom can maintain his current role. I’m not suggesting the QB would play. Taysom is going to see more snaps on offense but this QB can’t be a developmental guy.

just my .02....what’s your vision?

Depth is all we're searching for now.
Our roster is basically what it is, and it's a damn good one.

I'll say getting depth at CB and the DL is always welcomed. I also agree we will sign a vet QB so that Payton can utilize Taysom in his gadget role; Payton even alluded to this last month.

I really think we just need CB and DE depth.
I would love for us to sign Everson Griffin.

We'll prob sign a FA vet LB and QB after the draft.

1. Corner - after Lattimore and the 32 year old in October Janoris Jenkins we have PJ Williams as our 3rd corner. Yikes.
2. Backup QB - we only have Drew at QB cause I really don’t even consider Taysom a QB lol
3. Wide receiver - I think we are more than fine at the position, but getting someone to compete with Tre’Quan for the 3rd spot would be ideal
4. Backup Offensive tackle - we don’t have anyone, but I think Peat is our backup and we will keep 3 inside guys as backup offensive lineman in some combo of Warford, Easton, Clapp, & Tom
5. Pass rush specialist - hopefully Baun can give us some help there. Having him and Davis gives us some really good pass rushing LBs though. Hopefully we can get another Granderson as an UDFA to compete with the 2nd year UDFA

I don't see 3 as a need at all, and 4 will be easily addressed in free agency. I wouldn't be surprised if we find a way to get a pick tomorrow to address either 1 or 2.

We have PRob at corner too not that I would ever have him play outside but at the slot yes.
They're gonna pick up a FA QB.
We're good at WR.
I feel ya on this.

A game manager veteran QB. Blake Bortles would work for me.

WR competition. Would love to grab Cam Phillips (XFL’s top WR).

There will also be another wave of FA now. UDFA, potential post draft trades and then camp cuts are to be considered as well. There’s more competition to be added.

We need a serviceable backup QB and maybe some camp competition for deep depth roles. That is all.

We'd be just as good dredging for street free agents than mining the late draft for depth. How many 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th round picks have we drafted for other teams in the past few years?

My 2 cents:

1. DE- While we have DEPTH at the DE position, we don't have nearly enough STARTING QUALITY DEs....Imagine the 49ers D-line from last year where they had FOUR DEs whom were all starting material with 7-8+ sacks each. The game where they'd constantly put Rodgers on his butt was so beautiful. I'd love for us to get another legit DE to rotate in with Cam and Marcus and wreck havoc on Brady and Ryan. Low-key believe that CAM's tweets about wanting this pass rusher and that pass rusher wasn't a joke. He's getting older too. We need help here. I honestly can't understand why some don't see this as a legit need

....EDIT: Just watched the Baun interview where he has stated that he spent his whole career at Wisconsin as an edge rusher and that was where he felt the most comfortable...Therefore, I change my position of need importance to LB instead of DE. Fingers crossed we sign Clay Matthews then!

2. Slot WR-Speed, speed, speed. Though, this may not be a necessity if the Saints believe in Harris and being able to get the offensive playbook/route running down...He'd be so dangerous.

3. Backup QB-Easily addressed.

4. CB-Though,I believe that you need to give CGJ this job and have PJ be backup, and therefore, not really high on my list.

Ultimately, #1 and 2 for me are the most important that are left to be addressed.
