The only reason the Saints got what we got is because we were an acceptable fall guy for the league's greater goals. Small market, fairly impotent owner, and stand-offish coach. Least resistance all around. At the time it was known the Packers were doing the same thing and the Giants and Chiefs were also accused through press reports. Never a peep or investigation from the league though. Only we took the hit.
