Report: Competition Committee now supports idea of sky judge

A year ago, the idea of a sky judge received "no support" from the Competition Committee.

This is big, big news.

The Competition Committee is very conservative in its approach to new proposals.

Clearly, the changes on pass interference rules didn't work, but they could not go back to the status quo.

More important, the sky judge is the best way to fight incompetence. There is no way that it will be justified to leave controversial calls in the hands of Al Riveron. He is a terrible communicator, but even a worst referee.

I still wonder if the league is willing/intending to bring Dean Blandino back, but if not, I would prefer to have an additional officer taking care of the replays at the stadium.
