Former University of Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater ha reportedly opted to turn down an offer from his hometown NFL team to stay in New Orleans as the Saints' backup and heir apparent to Drew Brees.
Bridgewater, a Miami native, is expected to re-sign with New Orleans rather than accept "a bigger deal on the table" from the Miami Dolphins, NFL Network's Jane Slater reported Tuesday.
