Rethinking Position Groups (1 Viewer)

I'm not attacking you it's just how society is right now. We all say one side is brainwashed.

Well, one side has way too many folks that still believe wearing masks is not effective when all the evidence suggests otherwise.....

The CDC, Hospitals, and Clinics have all said they labeled people Covid dearths even though it was not the main cause of death, they had it at the time of death and that’s how it was reported. According to the CDC 4,649,102 cases have been reported and 154,471 deaths = 0.033% chance of dying and that’s with inaccurate death labeling.

And the Florida governor fired the health care specialist that created the Covid dash board because she wouldn't corrupt the data to his liking. I find it truly disturbing that some still actually think that Covid deaths are over-reported, when, in fact, we apparently in some states are also seeing record smashing (not just breaking, like doubling annual amounts with much of the year left) pneumonia deaths. Yeah right, if you believe that you probably believe in demon semen and the like. See thread below:

This about being prepared to play football. Trey nobody wants to hear your opinion on Covid. If you positive you can’t play. It’s real simple!
How does the organization avoid losing players needed to win.

Apologies for contributing to getting the thread off track.....

That’s what I’m saying, testing positive doesn’t mean you can’t play or practice. If masks and distancing work so well what’s the problem with regular practices, mini camps, pre-season, and games? And once players are together For a few weeks and no-one shows symptoms then there shouldn’t be an issue

Trey you've been ousted as a non-alarmist. You do not get an opinion on the internet anymore.

If positive the NFL has decided NO practice NO games. The players are being put on COVID IR. Not sure what is being missed here.

I don’t know your 3 people who died or their medical history, age, etc that contributed to their death. Stats show that healthy athletes in their primes are very unlikely to die from Covid. The vast majority of deaths are older people with underlying health conditions, not healthy Athletes.

I'd appreciate if you quit trying to hijack this thread. The last time someone in power said this would just disappear was about 4 months ago and 120,000 deaths later

Can I post a link on here? It's a link to an NFL Bubble idea that I thought was pretty well thought out with only a few wrinkles. AND... it gets us back to the topic....lol

I’m not trying to hijack your post. I just posted a thought and got attacked for it. All I’ve done since is post stats and data to support my thought.

Influenza has been around in the US since 1918. We have vaccines and it still kills 25,000-60,000 people a year. We’ve never acted this irrational over the Flu or any other virus/disease but all of a sudden Covid just happens to hit (in an Election year no doubt) and we’ve destroyed people’s lives, businesses, and our Economy over it.

You did your math wrong. 154,471/4,649,102 = 0.0325, but that's not a percentage. To get the percentage, you must multiply by 100, which means the chance of death would be 3.325%, not 0.033%. However, only 2.45 million have recovered, so the denominator you should use is 2.45M. When you do that math, the chances of dying in the U.S. currently stand at 6.3%. The common flu kills 0.1% annually of people that get it. So Covid is killing 60 times more in the U.S. If the same number of people get infected with Covid as with the flu, we may have 25,000 * 60 deaths = which is 1,500,000 deaths. However if we don't act drastically, Covid will infect many more people than the flu, because there is a vaccine for the flu to contain its spread. We don't have to take such drastic measures with the flu because the vaccine drastically curtails its spread.

This is getting so ridiculous. Testing positive means only that, it doesn’t mean you’ll be put on a vent, it doesn’t mean your going to die, it just means your positive. You may feel bad for a little bit like any other virus or you may not feel anything at all. Ive never seen people so brainwashed by the media freak out and change every aspect of their lives over something that is less deadly than the common flu. I’ll put money down that come November 4th Covid will pretty much disappear.
Jesus......

If DP’s theory is correct, then we are screwed.....being that TH7 practices with the QBs, STs, and TEs. He could potentially infect all 3 groups😂
