Let's give our guy Joe Buck here a little lesson.

A reverse needs two handoffs.

An end around needs one.

A double reverse would need 3 handoffs.

Just like on Monday night, what Bush scored on was a reverse and not a double reverse. Brees to Colston to Bush is a reverse.

Thank you, that is all.

Double Reverse is correct call. its the direction changes made after the ball is exchanged that determine a reverse not the amount of hand offs. It was discussed in great detail on NFL Sirius after the Atlanta game because lots of callers complained about the call on MNF.

The play only changed direction once. The initial handoff was to Colston going to the right. He REVERSED it to Bush who went the other way.

Just one change = Reverse

Right?

Whether or not that is correct, can we also teach him to wait until the refs actually spot the ball to call the spot "generous?"

Question: why do you even CARE what the play is called? All I care about is that it was a TD, baby!
