Also, he said the league apologized for the second half holding call on DeShawn Shead.

Jesus, they need to move on. It's Thursday, don't they have another game in a couple days?

Just apologizing so they'll shut up about it. The rule is clear about the pick plays, as long as they're initiated within the first yard. And the cooks TD was perfect. The second pick play was a little closer to 1.5 yards and was then a judgement call by the ref and he didn't call it.

A look at Richard Sherman's case of whining to Roger Goodell

I'm still waiting for all the apologies due to the Saints over the years.

I don't remember hearing about the league calling Julio Jones and apologizing for Sherman hanging all over the back of him on a fourth-down play at the end of the game just one week ago.

Not that wanted the F'clowns to beat the Seahags, I just really dislike whiners, espescially ones who cheat.....

Oh well, maybe we meet them in January. We can introduce them to Breaux and Rankins, maybe even Kikaha.

Here's my question on the play....

Snead comes off of the line and runs straight.

The CB is directly in front of him.

Snead doesn't veer L or R, he just runs directly into him.

Is that a pick?

It seems to me a pick would be more of a seek him out and block him.

Snead ran straight, and the dude was in his way.

Basically, who gets the right-away when a WR is running straight and the DB doesn't move. I would say the DB must move, but I don't know the rule.

Notice he wasn't boohooing about this call? In fact, look at that big ole smile on his face.

Get a tissue, Sherman. YOU LOST. You got outplayed by our rookie Thomas, too HAHA!!

Thanks for letting us know, Richard.
Dude, it's Thursday by the way.

I don't know how the rule works. I was at the game and forgot to tape it, I just remember thinking that Snead needs to learn to be more discrete when attempting a "rub" play.

Regardless, Sherman's tears bring a smile to my face.
