I saw the title and thought, “ aw man, not Remo Williams, the guy from Temors!”

And then I realized no it’s not Remo Williams, the guy from Tremors.

Then I realized who Fred Willard was and yeah he was funny. As a matter of fact a few days ago I watched a Rifftrax movie where he was a guest riffer.

Great choice to illustrate Fred Willard's shtick. He was unsurpassed at portraying the guy with supreme confidence that he had everything together, except he was actually an idiot. Nobody could do that role like Fred Willard. RIP.

RIP - a true comic talent. I loved the improv stuff they did in those Christopher Guest movies (Guffman, Best in Show, etc.). I guess Spinal Tap was a proto-film for that group.

I didn’t know he was 86.

Oh that’s terribly sad. Willard is so good in so many of those films from the Spinal Tap crew. A Mighty Wind (“hey, wha’ happen?”), Best in Show, etc. Has a hugely underrated cameo in Anchorman too.
