Fond memories growing up reading Pete Finney's columns. Another legend has gone home.

May he RIP, I read many of his articles through the years and enjoyed his take. He goes up there with Hap and Buddy D. I'd love to be able to sit and just listen to those three talk about the Saints again. So long Pete.

Wow, now that's a name I have not heard in a long time.

R.I.P.

I feel like a lot of the people I grew up watching/reading are passing away.

Great writer, and an even better human.

Growing up I always enjoyed reading his sports crystal ball that he would write up for New Years, and his Training Camp Updates were a must read. You're with the greats now Pete. Thanks for showing us the good stuff in life while you were here.

I grew up with Pete Finney. I am happy he got to see our Saints win the SuperBowl, unlike Buddy D. A true professional sportswriter.
