Rob Ryan at UGA pro day -MERGED (1 Viewer)

So we scheduled a visit with Victor Butler on a day our DC wasn't going to be here....interesting

Sounds like someone who knows where he wants to play and is ready to sign a contract after taking a physical

Ogletree can play all the LB positions I think, we might go with him, if not for his off the field issues , I would be sure of it.

That's what I was thinking. Even know they know eachother you would still think Loomis would want Ryan there for input.

4.88 and 4.85 seems really slow for Jones. I guess the possible tweaked hamstring would explain it, although you would think he would not have run the second one if he was hurt. But, that number is not good for his draft stock as an outside pass rush guy. Combine that with is potential spine issues and he could start to really fall.

On the other hand, the 4.53 for Ogletree is pretty impressive.

Jones is known for not being a workout rat.

I do not want Jones and that was before this Pro Day

Something weird is going on with those tweets. They are time stamped as March 21, 2013 at 2:42 P.M. That's about 4 hours from now.

Edit: In fact, the tweets don't say that Rob Ryan is there. I think that's an old picture of Rex and Rob and it can't be from UGA pro-day. If it's today, it hasn't happened yet.

4.88 is still really slow for a speed rusher even if you are not a work out guy. That's not saying he won't be good, but when you combine bad numbers with his health issues, it could make him fall on draft day. Which may be good for us. Or bad for us if it turns our his health issues are real.

I'm guessing something was bothering Jones. No way he's that slow on the field. If it causes him to fall, I'd be ecstatic if we grabbed him. He's going to cause offenses headaches for the next several years. Wouldn't bother me at all if does it wearing a Saints uni. :9:

Are you actually in Scotland? If so, that would explain the time stamp issue. And why it appears the tweet was sent 4 hours from now.

Can't see Jarvis Jones going high with high 40 times and stenosis issue. He is going to drop substantially in this draft.

Is jarvis still injured? why didn't he run at the combine?

Remember Brandon Spikes running a 5.0 40? His stock plummeted from a first rounder and ended up being drafted very late in the 2nd round by the Pats.

He has excelled ever since he got to New England. Won the starting job 4 games into his career.
