Robin Williams dead at 63. (1 Viewer)

Lest we forget

I saw a tweet that said something to the effect of "Robin Williams made a LOT of crappy movies, and we still watched. We loved HIM." I think that was true...no matter how great or terrible the movie might have been, you could always count on him to perform.

Man this is so sad to hear. RW has brought so many great memories to my family from his work. I still vividly remember as a child having my mom rent Flubber from Block Buster and watching it with her and my two sisters.

I hope he finds peace. I for one will miss him.

OMG, I just remembered one of my most favorite movies that always moves me to tears was a Robin Williams movie. "What Dreams May Come".

Last year when my Dad was dying, I binged watched my DVD to fall asleep to every night. An oddly good memory because that movie and his performance informs my idea of heaven.

I'm very sad about this. Rarely if ever have I felt this way about a celebrity death. I know he struggled with addiction and other issues.

Rest in peace Robin. You are a legend.

I really liked RV. I thought it was hilarious in the level of off the wall crazy stuff. It was a good time.

Patch Adams was also good, but in a totally different way, of course.
