Lakewood Ranch graduate has solid showing at Combine

Rodgers-Cromartie, who starred in track and field at both Lakewood Ranch High and Tennessee State, turned Tuesday's final day of testing into his personal playground by posting the top marks by a cornerback in four events and turning in the fifth fastest 40-yard dash in the combine by a player from any position.
"That was my goal coming in," Rodgers-Cromartie said by phone before catching his flight to Tampa late Tuesday afternoon. "As an overall performance, I'm satisfied with it. But I felt like I could have done better." Full Story - Heraldhttp://www.bradenton.com/sports/story/428900.html
