Ron Paul supporters set to march from Ironforge to Stormwind (1 Viewer)

I think it's wonderful how Ron Paul's campaign has managed to get people involved in politics that normally wouldn't be. Say what you want about his issues, but this is what America is supposed to be about.

Since Paul is a racist, Kook, isolationist, and an appeaser, I'm surprised that he's gotten this much support.

He's the 2008 version of Howard Dean, only with lower poll numbers. An internet-friendly candidate that is going nowhere "offline."

Its the same stuff, the same lines as Dean's "people powered revolution"->

"his support doesnt show up in polls... he's energizing people that have never voted before... etc..etc."

This March of Dorks is a different shade of the Dean Meet-Ups, though I'm not sure how many folks wore chain mail to the Dean functions. The Paul folks outside the Dome on Sundays look more like skate rats than anything else.

But hey, who knows.

OK, this is absolutely the best journalistic coverage of the Ron Paul campaign. In fact, it might be the best thing I've read about any election anywhere ever:

Ron Paul's Bloody Victory

...Unfortunately, there was one small complication one rarely encounters on the campaign trail: In World of Warcraft, you can get killed, usually by slavering beasts eager to rip you to shreds. Since all the Paul supporters would be playing new characters, they would be weak and all-too-vulnerable to monsters waiting to ambush them on the way to the rally point. In the days before the rally, Lettuce B-Free and a few other organizers hit the World of Warcraft universe, frantically fighting zombies and ogres in order to beef up enough characters to protect the newbies and act as bodyguards during the rally. Meanwhile, other players who hate Ron Paul's politics followed them around, taunting them and spitting on them (virtually).

How did I miss this? This has to be one of the funniest things I have read.

As with everything these days, here's the YouTube of it:

Klans? Come on now :)

You might be thinking of Guilds maybe.

And too bad they werent dumb (or funny) enough to do this on a pvp (player versus player) server, in a contested zone. That wouldve made for a delicious youtube :hihi:
