If he is hired, will the saints get a pick?

So the division rivals are trying to beat us by hiring our top assistants as coordinators.

Curry or offensive asst./ex-Grambling QB DJ Williams should be our OC

This is looking more and more like a total clown show!

Hopefully the Bucs go with some re-tread good ole boy, and leave the up and coming coach with us.
We gotta keep doing what we doing, you know. :muahaha:

Must be a Rooney rule interview. He's not even up for the OC position on his own team, nobody wants anyone from the Saints offensive staff, its the defensive staff that has their side of the ball performing.

If he does get hired then it speaks volumes to where other teams believe the Saints offensive issues lie.

After watching the results from the 2nd preseason game, the Bucs can have him.

Any remaining offensive coach pre-dating Allen’s HC tenure is still considered a Payton assistant and would be a commodity. I think that played a role in Joe Lombardi and Dan Campbell getting their promotions to OC and HC elsewhere.

Curry has 6 years as an asst. under Payton, 2 other prior seasons as a 49ers offensive asst, plus his HS football star/college playing days going for him. His role has increased to different levels from offensive assistant, to WRs coach, QB coach, now passing game coordinator. He’s going to be an OC eventually.
