Roomba.

I love mine. I got one of the cheaper models. But get two batteries. It takes two batteries to do my whole house. I also purchased one and two batterises for my elderly parents. It's perfect for them.

My wife got rid of ours when she saw I Robot. She said it would come and kill us in our sleep but it goes without saying...I for one welcome our Roomba overlords.

So as a wedding gift we recieved multiple gift certificates to bed bath and beyond, we have two dogs, we both have busy schedules and vacuming general is not done as often as it should be.

So we decided to take some of our gift certificates ans the BBB 20% mailer they constantly send and get a roomba 560.

best purchase ever.

Anyone else own a roomba?

What do yall think of it?

Buy her a vac. Do it now before an anniversary. You can't give it to her then, that makes them mad.

I'm surpirsed your dogs don't go completely nuts when its on.

i guess i just don't find the vacuum cleaner that hard to operate

Yeah, me either.

i guess it is because i am a girl though, and we were created with the ability to vacuum-clean an entire house in fifteen minutes.

Is the roomba good enough to go from hard wood floor and then onto a somewhat high rug? If it can, I need one. Our golden retriever is shedding and its a mess.

I ve got two of those and our vaccuum just laughs at the amount of hair. My wife swiffers EVERY morning and by the time I get home the hardwood floor looks like a shaggy dog. At least at the old house we had pine floors which "camouflaged" the amount of hair. Now we have dark hardwood and EVERYTHING shows up....

I just cant spend $500 for a Roomba or Dyson

We lucked out and got a Dyson on clearance for around $200 - love it. I have always thought a Roomba would be perfect for the church sanctuary since it takes so long to vacuum and you have trouble getting in, around and under the pews

I got my wife one for Christmas. That's right. My wife's Christmas present was a vacuum cleaner. All it took was the proper presentation and she loves it :)worthy: me).

Its awesome. It goes under furniture and beds unlike a regular vac.

True, but do you vacuum every day? Unless you have OCD, probably not. You probably wait until you notice that the floors need cleaning. But all we have to do is hit the button on our way to work each morning and it vacuums every day for us. So the floors are always clean.

And the aggrivation it gives to the cat is priceless.

Now my wife wants the one that mops. We do have an anniversary coming up, so she may get lucky.
