This game remided me of Mohamed Ali absorbing punch after punch until his opponent wore himself out. The Dolphins were stunned by the Saints second half onslaught. The looks on Porter and Taylor's faces in the fourth quarter, as they stood on the sidelines trying to catch their breath, said it all.

I was saying this to the fellow Saints fans at the bar next to me. The Dolphins were GASSED in the second half. Their offense was three in out pretty much every drive (including that three play series they had for a TD), and their defense could not get a breather to save their life.

If you look at the box score, the quarters went 3, 7, 14, 22.

Had the game gone into a hypothetical 5th quarter, forget it.

The Dolphins put up a heck of an effort, but when you can't breathe, you can't expect to stop our weapons on offense. There are way too many of them, and Brees is like a shark in water seeing blood once he gets on a roll.

The game was simply too long for the Dolphins to have a chance.
