He wants to be a starter on a contender or a chance to start with a contender and when he is talking about a pay cut, he is not going to sign for 1-3 mil a year, he's talking about playing for 8-10 mil per year. Good luck convincing him to take a 10 million dollar a year pay cut or more with the only chance of playing will be preseason or the last game of season.

You just voided your thread with this response. If Chase Daniels, or the next Chase Daniels, won't play behind Brees, what in the name of everything sane makes you think Palmer wants to play behind Brees...or anyone, or that matter? He doesn't want to be a backup, that has nothing to do with his willingness to take a paycut.

He will take a paycut to.play for Buffalo, Jets or possibly Arizona...teams that are making changes to win or have a chance. Raiders arrows point downward and don't have a bright future...as of now. Some can say Palmer had a part in that.
