I agree. You have to look at the possible cost savings. That drone can work for years for less than the cost of a single driver. That drone doesn't need to be operated by man, it would all be autonomous. Integrating radar and weather forecasts into the software of the mainframe is not very difficult. I think the biggest risk would be people shooting at them because they would probably think it's Bill Gates spreading teh Rona.I live in a flood zone C. 500 year flood zone. We have flooded 2x in 4 years.
Point being, while you point to tech, mother nature can throw a mokey wrench. And tech is only as good as the operator.
I'm just pointing out in an industry with razor thin margins, additional overhead will get passed on
