Here's another oft injured, underperforming LB on the market for us to convice ourselves that we must trade for.

per Draft Daddy:

"Linebacker Ian Gold is being shopped by the Denver Broncos and New Orleans and Cincinnati seem to be very interested."

If true, I think we are starting to see a trend - beat up, cheap bandaids for our pourous defense.

Him? Morgan? My goodness. No wonder we constantly have revolving doors at the Linebacker position.

i dont exactly see where ian gold and injury prone are related.

can somebody help me out on how he is a bad idea?

He just hasn't put up the best numbers.

Pickings are rather slim this year. I smell disappointment board-wide.

He would be better than Dan Morgan.

He plays WLB.

So is Fujita-Morgan-Gold better than Fujita-Simoneau-Shanle? I'm not so sure.

Now, Fujita-Vilma-Gold/Shanle looks better, but is Vilma healthy? And what draft picks are you giving up to get Vilma and/or Gold.

I have a feeling we will be disappointed with the LB's we get before the draft, but since we are a BPA team, we have to fill the void with someone. Let's just hope we keep some draft picks to get some beast LB's in the early rounds.
