It's no coincidence the NYG rushed for 226 against the Bucs, gave up less than 50 yds rushing and shut them out.

We rushed for 222 and gave up less than 70, we shut them out on D.

Its not rocket science.

We will have to do the samething our next 2 games against the NYJ & NYG. And it only gets tougher. This game was definately a momentum booster & confidence builder going into these next 2, really tough, at home games.

Teams wont be able to totally commit to taking one phase away w/ out getting burnt by the other phase. Not many teams can do both w/ the same amount of success and precision.

We can & with the new found confidence on D, I think we are ranking up there w/ the NYG as the best in the NFC.

The way our offense and defense is playing, it's like a perpetual motion machine; each part is feeding off the other while at the same time energizing the other. Or is that synergy?
The point is, our run game combined with this passing game is giving this team an air of invincibility. How are you gonna deal with an offense that can run and pass better than most teams in the NFL and then add to that that this defense is playing lights out, generating turnovers and keeping teams out of the endzone?
Our defense pitched a shutout yesterday. The only points scored were against special teams. A moral victory on top of a regular victory."
