Think about it NFL coaches love to be flashy, and the love to be thought of as ingenious and creative and innovative. Andy Reid, Mike Martz, John Gruden, Bobby Petrino, Brian Billick, Sean Payton and the list goes on. But time and time again, the coaches who win on the highest level understand how to exploit weaknesses even when the game plan is boring. Bill Belichick, Tony Dungy, Bill Cower, these coaches understand how to exploit a weakness and are not afraid to be vanilla and deliberate when the game plan calls for it.

Some teams don't have the ability to be phsyical but the Saints do, and what'f frustating is they have better personel to do it than the Colts. We can sit here and blame Jason David or Josh Bullocks for there play, we can blame our weakest spot on the team Mark Simoneau and Scott Shanle, we can blame Reggie's ineptness, we can blame the offesive line and there ability to hold up in the passing game, we can blame Drew Brees and his
lack of arm strength, we can blame the front office for not going after defensive players and letting Joe Horn go. We can even blame the D line for not getting pressure. But really those things are just symptoms of the real problem.

Sean Payton is SOFT and a FINESSE COACH Period. So until Sean Payton can grow a pair, the Saints are going to be a good team, flashy, they will make the playoffs most years, but they will never be elite in the league. The Colts did not stop the Saints offense not one iota, Sean Payton played enough defense for both teams. the proof is in the pudding.

Listen I like Reggie Bush, but here is the reality USC is flash, LSU punches you in the mouth. Joseph Addai vs. Reggie Bush no contest. However. Deuce McAllister vs. Joe Addai no contest. Deuce is the BEST PLAYER on the team and it is not even close. The Saints win when Deuce touches over 20 times a game period.

The good news is we can change. The good news is there is some talent on this team. The good news is Brian Simmons is on the team. The good news is no one pick up Dhani Jones, the good news is Kevin Quesidilla can replace Josh Bullocks, the good news is Drew Brees won't be off every game. But most of all we have Deuce McAllister and we have 15 games to learn who our bell cow is. Reggie is flash, glamour, lightning but our superbowl ticket can only be punched by getting on the Deuce train.

Indy not because they have an explosive offense, but because they are willing to exploit weaknesses. They don't dictate to teams they exploit weaknesses and they also why New England Wins. Against Indy they pound the ball but against weak pass defense teams like San Diego they throw the football.

SEAN PAYTON GROW A PAIR AND POUND THE BALLL.

We have Tampa Bay coming up. It is a good game to practice pounding Deuce. Remember he owns Tampa. Let's see if you can give him the ball.
