Rip mca

now here's a little story i've got to tell
about three bad brothers you know so well
it started way back in history
with adrock, m.c.a., and me - mike d.
Been had a little horsy named paul revere
just me and my horsy and a quart of beer
riding across the land, kicking up sand
sheriff's posse on my tail cause i'm in demand
one lonely beastie i be
all by myself without nobody
the sun is beating down on my baseball hat
the air is gettin' hot the beer is getting flat
lookin' for a girl i ran into a guy
his name is m.c.a., i said, "howdy" he said, "hi".......

grew up on them.

Came out as a sideshow 1987 or so. Just 3 white dudes rappin over classic rock samples.

But they had skillz. they worked at it and reinvented themselves from that late 80s reputation to a true group capable of packin arenas.

Will b missed for sure.

The first record (vinyl) that I ever bought with my own money was License to Ill.

This sucks.

Man it sucks to see this, the Beastie Boys were still cranking out tracks to date. A lot of other dudes from their era fell off a long time ago yet the Beasties kept rolling. This dude loved the hip-hop culture till the end. RIP big homie!

Ugh. It's been a rough week for my childhood.

Testament to MCA - how often is a merge necessary on the EE?
