Adolph Hitler had Parkinson's Disease, thats why he looks like an idiot and has all the gyrations when you see in his speeches and on triumph of the will the documentary.

Benjamin Franklin had a low opinion of Prussians and Germans in particular. For what ever reasons he was never complimentary of them.

John Adams really did not like Alexander Hamilton and in fact threatened to resign form office in 1798 and let his arch rival Jefferson take over. Hamilton when he got word of this backed down.

Neitcheze and Wagner almost broke up their friendship because of Wagner's anti-Jewish thoughts and opinions. In fact it is rumored that they indeed did come to blows because of it

Jefferson wanted to make Latin a important language when this country was formed. I guess it kind of never took off.

LBJ hated the FOIA, in fact he almost did not sign it because he felt it was too intrusive and threatened national security.

Hank Shram wore a toupee and in fact had an operation with it on because he did not want the bad secret getting out.

Interesting.

A bit of local trivia (local for me!):
"General" George Armstrong Custer was never a General in the regular army. (he was promoted to Major General during the Civil War due to "brevet" field promotions)

He reverted back to a Captain in the regular arny after the war, and died as a Lt. Colonel.

You think people with Parkinson's disease look like idiots?

No Dave, if you ever get a chance to see him in those old video clips doing those rants and waving his arms around in the air, he is doing that partly because he had the beginning signs of Parkinson's. Hitler always spoke with his hand behind him because his doctors told him he had a disorder that was starting to show. That what I meant by those gyrations he did. He did it partly to get the crowd in a frenzy but he did do it because of Parkinson's that he was diagnosed with in the 1920's or 30's

That's speculation

Benjamin Franklin had a low opinion of Prussians and Germans in particular. For what ever reasons he was never complimentary of them.

You're likely basing this off a piece of satire he did "Edict from the King of Prussia", which was, in fact, directed at the English, not Prussia.

Neitcheze and Wagner almost broke up their friendship because of Wagner's anti-Jewish thoughts and opinions. In fact it is rumored that they indeed did come to blows because of it

Nietzsche's break with Wagner likely had more to do with Nietzsche's secret love for Cosima, Wagner's wife. The expressed reason however was the emptiness of the Bayreuth festival. Nietzsche was not anti-semitic but it's a much larger issue then simply that.

First of all, "waving your arms around in the air" is not a sign of Parkisons. Tremors are, and are not clearly visible in the videos you refer to. Hitler did have tremors, even before the bomb plot, which has caused the speculation, but none of this is evident in or has anything to do with his speeches.

Secondly, how could Hitler always speak with his hand behind him and yet wave his arms in the air?

For reference, it's significantly more likely Hitler had syphilis and that his conditions were exacerbated by the stress of losing, his hypochondria (which resulted in numerous unnecessary and often harmful treatments), and of course the experience of the bomb plot which appeared to accelerate everything.

Eh...I never heard the Parkinson's Disease angle, but it's well documented he was shooting up meth several times a day.

Hitler's pronounced hand tremors late in the war were likely the result of injuries sustained in the bomb plot and the concoction of "vitamultin" that his physician was shooting into his veins every day.

Though the formula for "vitamultin" was not revealed by the doctor, it's believed to have been amphetamines and extract from bull testicles...an early attempt at hormone therapy.

Benjamin Franklin reportedly liked to take cold air baths. That is, in the dead of winter, he would sit completely nude in a chair with his feet propped on the window sill and the window open for several minutes before going to bed.
