METAIRIE — Jon Stinchcomb’s triumphant return to his home area as a starting offensive lineman in the NFL was a while in coming, but finally it has arrived.

Stinchcomb, a first-year starter who’s in his fourth season, will line up in his now-becoming-familiar position as starting right tackle for the New Orleans Saints when they play the Falcons at <?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = ST1 /><ST1:TIME hour="12" minute="0">noon</ST1:TIME> Sunday in the Georgia Dome.

A second-round draft choice (No. 37 overall) out of Georgia in 2003, Stinchcomb is from <ST1LACE><ST1:CITY>Lilburn</ST1:CITY>, <ST1:STATE>Ga.</ST1:STATE></ST1LACE>, just outside <ST1:CITY><ST1LACE>Atlanta</ST1LACE></ST1:CITY>. He helped about 15 family and friends get tickets for the game and expects others to be there.
