In 2018, the Saints finished with the best record in football despite playing a challenging schedule, but in 2019, it appears the NFC South champions will forge a somewhat easier path.
The New Orleans Saints will go into the 2019 season facing what is the 22nd most difficult schedule, or the 10th easiest overall, in the National Football League, when judging by combined records amassed by each team on the schedule from this past season, according to CBS Sports.
The Saints’ opponents had a combined 125-131 record (.488) in 2018.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that New Orleans will have an easy time of it in the 2019 season. Here is a rundown of how the Saints’ opponents did last year.
