Seems like a very big opening line but I don’t bet games but looks like a lot of money on the Saints early. Will be interesting to see how much it moves.

Hope the players don’t eat the cheese.

I'm with ya. Yeah, the Cards have beaten bad teams, but they've still gotten the wins. In the Dome against a rookie QB, we SHOULD win, yes. But I don't think the Cards are a bad team and if Apple's gone (even if it's just a hyperextension, I doubt he plays next week), PJ suspended, and P-Rob also possibly out with an injury, that could be scary. We'll need the pass rush and our safeties to help out whatever lucky fan wins the contest to play CB2 next week.

Don’t know about ya’ll but I keep waiting for the other shoe to fall. Every game scares me.

I watched the Cardinals/Giants game today. Don’t believe the hype. Cards are still bad. Saints by 20+

This year's version of the 48-7 beatdown last season against Philly.

I don’t bet and I don’t even know what the -14.5 really means, but that seems like a lot for any NFL game.

That is very high. Should go down a bit as it gets closer to game time.

It means if you wanted to bet the Saints to win, the Saints would have to win by 15 points or more for you to win your bet.

Vegas tried to set a line so that equal amounts of money are bet on both sides so that the casinos make their guaranteed money on the vig (the fee they collect for accepting a bet).

It can get more complicated, but you’d have to go into the betting thread here and ask the gambling experts.
