On paper, the New Orleans Saints' schedule for the upcoming season is not too tough.
The Saints' 2008 opponents had a combined winning percentage of .449 this past season, giving them the 28th toughest schedule in the 32-team NFL.
In case you're wondering, the New England Patriots have the easiest schedule, with their opponents winning just 38 percent of their games. How is that fair?
But I digress.
Having the fifth-easiest schedule would usually be a cause for celebration in a city that is always ready to party. But after a closer look at the 16-game schedule, I decided winning in 2008 will be no piece of (King) cake.
