The Saints defense played much better against the Browns than it did in Week 1, but is the offense becoming too reliant on Michael Thomas as a leading option?

Here are Nick Underhill's three biggest takeaways from Sunday's win:

1. The defense played better: That should be the biggest takeaway from this game.

It is fair to point out how bad the final three minutes of the game were for the defense, but there were a lot of positive signs throughout the game.

The defense was organized, played the run reasonably well and did a good job of keeping Tyrod Taylor confined to the pocket. There was even some pressure generated.

It’s not all the way there, but it moved the right direction after how bad it looked Week 1. ...
